Recently we have had an influx of enquires for black out shutters across Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey.
Just last week one of our customers from Warsash came to us looking for a plantation shutter, which would be fully black out as she works nights and finds it difficult to sleep through the day.
With this in mind we discussed all the different styles and options we could offer, after a while bouncing ideas off of each other we decided they would go for a standard full height shutter with a mid rail in our classic material option with a 64 mm louver.
To make it as black out as possible we decided to add a slightly deeper frame to the order where we would be able to install a honeycomb black out pleated blind. We then discussed the different control options available and decided a tensioned system would be the best option here.
With all this in mind we went back to the office to put the order through with our suppliers.
After 8 weeks we were back again to install the blackout shutters.
After the installation the customer could believe not only how much light they blocked out but also how much noise they blocked out as well.
